Simon Denzel is a London based designer working in a number of disciplines, incluing furniture, interiors, exhibitions, consumer and tech products. He collaborates closely with specialist in other disciplines and manufacturers, approaching every project according to its unique set of requirements and circumstances and always with a strong focus on detail. He regards restrictions as challenges and as a chance for innovation.
Simon Denzel established his practice in London after graduating from the Royal College of Arts in 2008.
He has worked with a number of internationally renowned companies including, Marc Newson, Huawei, Pentagram and Map Project Office.
Lichen on rocks in Sweden with their colours and ever changing patterns were the inspiration for this modular shelf, which requires no tools for installation.
The National Art & Design Saturday Clubs Summer Show is an annual exhibition of young art and design talents, organized by the Sorrell Foundation. We designed a system of tables and displays and co-curated the show.
