Chain Gang - A mug to hook up with 2008.
This mug was designed in context with a project run by Platform 6 in view of this year's Work in Progress Show. Particularly important for this design was the consideration of the casual, rather utilitarian, attitude that distinguishes a mug from other drinking vessels like a cup. In order to empasise this feeling, the mug's outline has been cleaned up and a hook has been added to enable the storage of several mugs on a chain.
