In late 2009 Simon Denzel has grouped up with three fellow RCA graduates. Collectively they call themselves ASSEMBLY, a name that reflects their views on design and under which they work on projects for various clients, as well as persuing their individual work.

During and after his studies Denzel has worked for Marc Newson and several other companies in Industrial and Interior/ Exhibition Design.

Simon has attended an MA Design Products at the Royal College of Art, from which he graduated in 2008.

He has been commissioned by the Microsoft Research Lab in Cambridge to style and make a physical concept model for 'Living Radio', part of the 'Object Incognito Project' by Anab Jain and Alex Taylor of the Socio Digital System Department.

Born in Heilbronn, Germany in 1979 Denzel studied Industrial Design at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design, from which he graduated in 2005, and at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
